The project is located south of the existing port. The quay walls are constructed of floating caissons 13 m high and pumice underwater backfilling. The total length of the quay walls is 660 m and the on shore created areas behind them are »100,000 m2.

Participation in the preliminary and final design, preparation of technical specifications and supervision of quay wall and reclaimed land construction, founded on ground improved by a preloading embankment and accelerated with the use of plastic drains of total length of approximately 850,000 m and reinforced with stone columns of total length of approximately 170,000 m.
