The project is located in the area of Kontari, approximately 3 km S-SE of the town of Chios and east of Chios airport. The works include: 1) Main breakwater of a total length of 835 m, 2) coast line quays of a total length of 520 m, 3) internal quays of a total length of 570 m, 4) secondary breakwater of a total length of 120 m, 5) berthing of cruise ships of up to 200 m long, consisting of 3 mooring dolphins and 3 pedestrian bridges 55 m long each, 6) internal quay of a total length of 160 m for the mooring of F/B 170 m long and 7) land reclamation of a total area of approximately 160,000 m2.

Drilling 20 off-shore exploratory boreholes and 16 CPT tests, with the relevant laboratory tests, preparation of a factual and interpretive report and foundation proposal.
