The project is located on the south side of a small peninsula, at the center of Apollo bay, on the foothill of a mountainous area at the SE end of Naxos Island, Cyclades. The works include:

• Rehabilitation, enhancement and southward extension of the existing north breakwater by 40 m.
• Construction of a 75 m long quay wall inside the breakwater.
• Widening of the existing wharf by 11-13 m.
• Construction of a 30 m long groin for silting protection.

Additional infrastructure works.

Drilling 3 off-shore exploratory boreholes, with the corresponding laboratory tests, preparation of a factual and interpretive report and foundation proposals.
