The project is located at the Maistros area approximately 3 km east of Alexandroupolis and between the Athens-Alexandroupolis railway line and the sea. The project works included the construction of Natural Gas Tank Bases and small building facilities as well as an underwater fuel loading pipeline.

The executed works included:

• 6 off-shore CPT tests, evaluation of results and preparation of the underwater pipeline foundation design.
• Design of ground reinforcement with stone columns in the tank area.
